ABOUT US

Teocali was established in August 2006. We are centrally located in Kansas City in the Crown Center District. The restaurant is a vision of founders, Enrique & Chela Gutierrez, of bringing truly authentic Mexican cuisine to the Kansas City metro area. Many times authentic Mexican recipes are changed in the United States to entice a wider customer base. However, at Teocali, we use the same recipes that have been in our family for generations. So, when you dine with us you’ll always be confident that you’re eating authentic Mexican food.

As we have become established in the past year we have introduced many new items to our menu. We have added many seafood entrees, including catfish, tilapia and shrimp, as well as meals for vegetarians.

For drinks after a long day of work, there is no better place to be than here at Teocali. We offer a relaxing atmosphere with traditional Mexican music at our bar, where you will be able to sample over 40 different tequilas. Most of which are difficult to find anywhere else in the city. There are daily happy hour specials available from 3:30pm to 6pm, Monday through Friday.

RESERVATIONS

Teocali gladly accepts reservations with reasonable advance notice. Also large parties and events can be booked in advance.
